Previously led Growth Strategy & Ops at Instacart (strategy & business operations functions for consumer growth, pricing and advertising revenue). Board member of NYSE: BOAS, a prop-tech oriented SPAC. Active angel investor and advisor to early stage companies.

Early (first ~40 employee) at Opendoor (from $100M to $5B+ revenue; 40 to 1800 people) where I built, scaled and managed a variety of core business teams including Analytics, Sales and Pricing. Prior to that was an investor primarily in tech at Invus Group, Universal Music Group, and Bain Capital. Started off my career in consulting at McKinsey primarily for CPG clients. Alumnus of Harvard Business School and Dartmouth College.

Investment Philosophy

Invest in what I know and where I can help. This tends to mean businesses at the intersection of software and real world operations with financial complexity. From a sector perspective, this is often PropTech, Fintech and software for operators. Invest across stages though usually at pre-seed/seed.

My typical support with portfolio companies has been (1) product and business model brainstorming, (2) feedback on fundraising materials , and (3) introductions for hiring, potential customers, and additional investors.
